IAS Exam: Final Marks made public
Following a direction from the Central Information Commission (CIC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made public the final marks of all successful candidates in the civil services examination 2012 result of which was announces in the first week of May. This is the first time in the history of the elite civil services examination, that UPSC make the marks of all candidates public.

In terms of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2013, candidates have been asked to download their admission certificates for the Nagpur Centre on or before 3 May 2013 may take another fresh print for the detailed address of the venue for Civil Services (Prelims) Examination 2013.

Civil Services Exam Mains' Pattern Changed
NEW DELHI (Updated on 21 March 2013) : Ushering a major change in the country's premier civil services examination, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday notified the test for this year giving more weight to general studies and aptitude skills. It also introduced an English language paper, whose marks will count in final selection of aspirants for elite services like IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS and other prestigious central jobs.
